Petrol and diesel prices up in Delhi. Petrol prices were hiked by Rs 1.67 per liter and diesel by Rs 7.10 per liter.
With this, petrol in Delhi is now priced at Rs 71.26 a liter. lat time it was 69.59. Diesel prices were up by Rs 69.39. VAT on petrol has been hiked from 27% to 30%.
The tax on diesel has almost doubled. It has been raised to 30% from 16.75% earlier.
