Micromax recently announced 6 inch phablet within a price tag of Rs 8,500. With a good Specs that is 6 inch, 854×480 display, 1.3 GHz Dual Core Processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB Internal, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 5 MP and front VGA camera, and a Battery of 2,500 mAh.

Lets start with the display, A 6 inch, 854×480 display seems to be outdated one. if your are looking for a 6 inch display then its resolution must be greater than in a range of 1000x... This is not good at all When you look at the price point its okay. We know that the Micromax reduced so many things here to meet the 8500 price tag. Even in he bright sunny day the handset is difficult to operate. Playing videos and games is also not bold as expected.
On the Processor side we have found something better. Its good to see a Dual core 1.3 GHz processor which is good to do multitasking but you cannot do so many tasks at the same time, with a RAM of just 512MB. You need to close up the Apps otherwise the Handset get hangup in regular intervals. We expected a 1GB RAM which now common in all phablets today. And One thing you have to keep in mind that if you are running on OS which is Jelly bean or above, you should have a RAM of 1GB of Above. If you have enough patience to use the Handset with 512Mb RAM then its okay otherwise go for 1GB.
Next Internal Memory the Phablet comes with 4 GB on board and you can expand up to 32GB is common in all Phones today. Here in the the 4GB Internal memory 90% of the Space will be Consumed by the OS itself then nothing left So make sure to buy a Memory card of 16GB of 32GB. And Also install All the Apps to memory card other wise you Phone will die hard to run apps.
Now the camera. 5MP camera is okay but we say keep a Digital camera with you. After taking photos with this one never expect a good quality from this one. And with the front VGA camera you have to hold a light in front of your face while video chating.
And finally the battery with 2,500 mAh you can run for a day.
Our Verdict
Buying this tablet and Using it for one month will make you sick and if you sell it you will cry and you will think that My God it was better to buy some other better branded Tabs. So better Go for Other Branded Tablets like HP, Asus, Lenovo etc. Which will cost around 12k to 15K and you will get a better 7 inch screen and Good camera, good processor and better sales after service This is all we can say.
