Volkswagen to launch its Vento, the sedan one with 1.5-litre diesel engine first in India in this May.
Along with the 1.5-litre diesel powerbox it will have a DSG automatic 6 speed gearbox. The Automatic was only available for petrol variants only for last year.
Right now in India the demand for the diesel cars are going up because of the price of petrol. And the Hyundai Verna is the only diesel car in India that comes with automatic 4 speed gearbox.
Volkswagen is planning to sale Vento 1.5-litre diesel in this year 2014 and the DSG automatic 6 speed gearbox will cost 1 lakh extra than the manual one.
