Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) India and Aisin Seiki Japan, one of the top supplier (global) of automatic transmission gearbox, has signed a deal to supply 6 speed auto gearbox for upcoming M&M and SsangYong Vehicles.
The new XUV500 with Automatic Gearbox will be introduced by Mid 2015. The Latest automatic gearbox is actually a conventional torque converter. The components inside the gearbox consist of lots of complex hardware and electronic components which helps in better efficiency by decreasing the ‘spin loss'.
And the latest automatic transmission gearbox's are lighter and have faster gear shifts.
