India Post has started a new Low cost, High Speed Parcel service. We all know that in India the high speed parcel service is in the hands of DHL, UPS, Bluedart etc. So here India Post is ready for the competition.
We all know the parcel charge of DHL, Bluedart and UPS. Here in India Post you will get the High speed service for low rates. The two new service are Express parcel and Business parcel. Both the Business and Express parcel will be delivered in 3 days. Along with that Postal department is also planning to introduce Cash on Delivery system. For better Parcel service more centres will be opened across the country.
Local parcel weigh below 500 gm will cost around 30 Rs. For the parcel that weighs from 500gm-5kg customer has to pay 8 rupee per 500gm. Non Local the charge will be 50 Rs and extra will be 14 Rs. and for above 5KG additional 16 Rs will be charged.
