General insurance Company ICICI Lombard has announced a new policy called Road side assistance cover. This new policy mainly covers accident insurance and Road side car breakdown assistance.

In case if the customer cannot continue the journey due to car breakdown, he will get accommodation and a vehicle to continue the journey. Along with that for minor mechanical issues phone helpline will be there and with the help of GPS technology the breakdown vehicle will be moved to the nearest workshop and if refuelling is needed that will be also covered.
