Blackberry messenger for Android and iOS coming soon

Blackberry CEO Thorsten Heins announced Blackberry messenger is coming soon to iOS and Android phones.

The application will be free on both the platforms that is on Google play and iTunes store. To install Blackberry messenger in Apple device - iOS 6 or above and on Android - ICS or above will be required.

Update (18-05-2013)

As per the latest update, Blackberry messenger will not support Android and iOS tablets like iPad, Nexus 7 and 3rd party Android tabs. Company mentioned that they are focusing mainly on Smartphone's.
